This is my fifth year with the Coolidge Unified School District. Prior to coming to Coolidge, I was a middle school teacher. During the last five years, I have been an assistant principal at Mountain Vista Middle School and San Tan Foothills High School. Most recently, I have held the position of director of curriculum and instruction for the Coolidge Unified School District. I received my undergraduate degree in education from the University of Arizona and my master’s degree in administration and supervision from the University of Phoenix. It is my vision to create a safe and positive environment for our students, with a strong emphasis on student success. I am pleased to be working with such a dedicated faculty and staff. We will continue building a culture that does not tolerate bullying, inappropriate behavior, or drugs. In the next few weeks, I will be developing specific plans to address these issues, and you will be hearing about them in newsletters and, hopefully from your children. All children deserve to have a safe environment to grow socially, emotionally, and academically. I am committed to making Hohokam Middle School and outstanding, effective school where students have fun while developing positive character traits and 21st Century skills for success in high school and beyond.
